Alana Fox Skull Swallowtail Butterfly Floral Entomology Taxidermy Oddities Glass Dome Artwork

Alana looks like a little piece of an old English cottage garden, where roses have been left to bloom and fade with the seasons and nature has found beauty in every stage of life. There’s a softness to her that makes the presence of a fox skull feel almost romantic rather than macabre.

A genuine fox skull rests among dried roses in dusty pink, lavender and buttery yellow, with delicate white flowers scattered across a bed of green moss. Above it, a beautiful Mocker Swallowtail butterfly spreads her pale yellow wings. Everything is enclosed beneath a glass dome with a warm wooden base and a charming little bird perched at the very top.

Picture Alana displayed on an antique dresser beside a collection of old perfume bottles, tucked into a vintage bookcase or taking center stage on a mantel surrounded by candlesticks and treasured finds. She’s a lovely way to bring a little romance and a touch of the unexpected into a space without sacrificing its softer side.

One available. Once Alana finds her home, she’s gone.
