Evangeline Butterfly Insect Entomology floral Botanical Oddities Taxidermy Glass Dome Artwotk

Evangeline takes inspiration from the forgotten conservatories of old Victorian estates, where climbing roses have long outgrown their trellises, flowers are left to dry naturally and little remnants of the natural world are collected and treasured rather than discarded. There’s a certain romance to places like these, where even the smallest imperfections become part of their charm.

Inside her glass globe, a delicate butterfly rests above a gathering of faded roses, soft pink and golden blooms, natural crystals and an abandoned wasp nest. Beneath it all sits an elaborate golden owl, giving Evangeline the appearance of something that might have once belonged to an eccentric naturalist with a fondness for beautiful and unusual things.

Picture her sitting atop an antique wooden cabinet, surrounded by old leather-bound books, ornate candlesticks and treasures collected from years of wandering through flea markets and antique shops. She’s just as lovely as a statement piece on her own, especially somewhere the afternoon sunlight can catch the glass and bring out all those beautiful warm tones.

Only one Evangeline available. Once she finds her home, she’s gone.
