Celebrate the transition into autumn by creating your own Monarch Moon shadowbox, a botanical-inspired piece featuring a real preserved Monarch butterfly surrounded by a crescent moon of dried florals, natural elements and woodland textures.

Using a 4×6 shadowbox, you’ll design your own crescent moon composition with a curated selection of preserved botanicals, moss, dried citrus, florals and decorative accents. While everyone will begin with similar materials, you’ll have the freedom to arrange and personalize your design, making every finished piece completely unique.

Throughout the workshop, I’ll guide you through composition, layering, and balance so your shadowbox feels polished, cohesive, and ready to display, no previous experience required.

• A real preserved Monarch butterfly
• A 4×6 black shadowbox
• Tools & adhesive
• Preserved moss, dried florals, botanicals, dried citrus, and decorative natural elements

✨ Optional Personal Touch

You’re welcome to bring a few small decorative items to incorporate into your shadowbox, such as crystals, pressed botanicals, meaningful keepsakes, or other lightweight embellishments. While completely optional, these personal touches are a wonderful way to make your piece even more personal.

Every shadowbox will reflect its maker. Differences in botanical placement, textures, decorative elements, and personal additions ensure that no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

This workshop is perfect for nature lovers, butterfly enthusiasts, and anyone looking to create a beautiful seasonal piece inspired by autumn, moonlit skies, and the quiet beauty of the natural world.

Workshop Policy: Due to limited seating and advance material purchases, workshop registrations are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, please contact me as soon as possible. At my discretion, I may be able to transfer your registration to another workshop, issue store credit, or allow you to transfer your spot to someone else.
