Soft pinks, delicate whites and a little bit of magic under glass! 💗

Join me for an afternoon of creating something beautifully delicate with a slightly whimsical twist. This workshop brings together real preserved butterflies, natural botanicals and crystals to create a miniature garden enclosed beneath a glass dome.

At the center of each piece will be a stunning Mother of Pearl butterfly, known for its beautiful pale pink and pearlescent wings with contrasting dark markings. You’ll also incorporate a crystal tower, surrounded by a selection of dried florals, moss and other decorative elements to build your own little botanical world.

We’ll explore different ways to arrange, layer and balance everything within the dome, making sure your butterfly and crystal remain the focal points while allowing plenty of room for your own creativity.

Whether you prefer something soft and romantic, a little more whimsical or even slightly moody, you’ll have the freedom to make your finished piece entirely your own.

• A real preserved Mother of Pearl butterfly (Salamis duprei)
• A 5.1” × 3.8” glass dome with wooden base
• A 2-3 inch crystal tower
• Tools & adhesive
• Dried florals, moss, greenery and decorative elements in shades of pink, white and complementary tones

✨ Optional Personal Touch

Want to make your piece even more personal? You’re welcome to bring along small crystals, meaningful trinkets, keepsakes or even your own preserved insect to incorporate into your design.

This is completely optional! Everything needed to create your dome will already be provided.

No two pieces will turn out exactly alike. Even with the same butterfly and crystal tower, the possibilities are endless when it comes to choosing your florals, arranging your botanicals and deciding how everything comes together.

This workshop is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone who loves butterflies, crystals, botanical art or simply wants to spend an afternoon creating something beautiful. You’ll leave with your own finished glass dome, ready to display at home or give as a thoughtful handmade gift just in time for the holidays!
